Has anyone ever encountered error 0033 on watch espn app on the roku. I can't even watch espn on my computer anymore. 0033: The customer is not authorized for the content requested

The caviate is that I can watch any other game but the LSU game right now.

Do you have a tv provided such as sling or VUe? or cable?

Hell yes. Had it tonight. Has happened before.

Hit the star/asterisk button and select delete channel. Then go to channel store, select WatchESPN, and install. You'll have to do the passcode deal. It'll work.

I have this every few months with roku and appletv with the WatchESPN app. Just delete (or with appletv sign out) and start over. It will work. Nothing else will fix it.

I had the same issue (not sure if I got the exact same error code), trying it on my roku, an iPad, and my laptop. I think the issue for me is that my PlayStation vue plan doesn't include ESPNU, but does include regular ESPN and ESPN2.

Also, the WatchESPN app stops and buffers a lot on my Roku, going back to baseball season. It used to work great, then it went to hell.

I started using it on AppleTV instead, and it works fine on that device. I've read of others having the same issue.

You don't have to delete the channel. Just logout and log back in.
