Seriously..The odds of Walmart sending you the same thing that Amazon would send you are pretty good

I've never ordered something for Amazon that arrived and didn't work or was missing a key assembly part. I've ordered 2 tv's from wal mart, neither worked. Wife ordered a table set, was missing 3 screws.

While that is a fair assessment, who is to say that if you ordered the same thing off both sites, you wouldn't have the same problem

why bother? Wal Mart is just going to send you items that are broken or don't work.

I recently bought a TV off amazon that got sent broken twice. Well they sent the same broken tv to me twice. I blame UPS more than I do Amazon, Amazon was pretty straight about it.

Having said that, they still sent broken tv

i'm sure i'll get bashed for this, but the last 3 things i purchased (pool chlorine tabs, replacement basket, baking soda) were all cheaper from walmart.com than amazon.

because they came from the 'walmart marketplace' i didnt pay shipping or tax.

amazon now charges sales tax in TN so its a less viable option for me these days.

Not sure if serious....

I would only bash you for using chlorine tabs in your pool

which part?

the fact amazon charges tax in TN making products more expensive

or that i was able to purchase cheaper via walmart?

both of these things are easily verifiable.

how hypocritical of wal-mart

they just looking for some pub. good for them.. but the same people who own sam's club.. who you need a memebership to purchase in for discounted savings..

okay wal-mart..

there is nothing wrong with amazon prime rewarding its customers who do pay

Heads-up for all you online shoppers! It appears that Walmart Stores across the country will begin testing a new unlimited shipping service for online shoppers this summer promised to beat the cost of Amazon Prime! Rumor has it that the Walmart shipping subscription service will cost around $50 per year and promises that your items will arrive in 3 days or less.

ha, 3 days. this is still $50, I rather pay Prime 100 a year because they have far more items overall and faster service. plus amazon extends free months any time your item is not delivered in 2 days.. regardless of reason. they also have an incredibly easy return system.. they are very good to their customers.

but i agree competition is a great thing. so good for wal-mart.

I really hope amazon stays the hell out of Louisiana

i have never paid any tax buying on amazon. i know some states do, but louisiana does not.

i don't understand what this whole you hope amazon stays out of louisiana crap is?

last time i ordered something from wal-mart online it took 2 weeks for them to ship and get to me. 2 weeks.. and i still had to paid like $8 shipping for one item.

do you even basic tax law bro?

You don't pay taxes in Louisiana because Amazon does not have a physical presence here. The states that have amazon warehouses & stores have to pay sales tax. The 8-9% tax savings would go away if amazon opened anything here

Eta: of course, I keep track of every online purchase and ALWAYS pay use tax at the end of each year

Then get rid of the trash in the stores, don't allow for motorized scooters so I don't have to look at some fat POS while I'm trying to shop, and pick up the dirty f*cking diapers in the parking lot.
