re: Used ApplePay today...

Just tried it for the first time at Walgreens and it didn't work. I loaded the card on my phone, activated it, and it's in my Passbook. I took my phone out and held it close to the machine then I tapped it to the machine and still nothing. Am I doing something wrong or could it have been the walgreens machine?

Yeah gonna go to another store and see before I chalk it up to a user error.

All you should have to do is hold your phone near the pay terminal while your finger is on the TouchID button. I've used it at McDonald's and Subway and it worked perfectly each time. Even if you aren't touching the TouchID button your phone should still recognize that you're trying to pay for something and it'll show you your available cards.

Update: went back to the same Walgreens to pick up a prescription. This time it worked. I googled about issues and someone recommended to reboot your phone. So I did do that. So idk what the issue was the first time but it definitely did not work.
