uploading songs to Spotify playlist from different sources

I'm wanting to listen to a particular band that doesn't sell their music digitally. Is there another way to get songs on my playlist short of ripping from a CD?

If you have them stored digitally on the device you listen to spotify with, they should be in the local files folder.
I don't know if that only works with spotify premium or not, that's what I have.

Rip CD and store on phone. You can also rip on computer, add to Spotify and if your device and computer are on the same wireless network, it will upload to your device. This is the only way to get any Tool songs onto Spotify.
