Question for all of you cord cutters out there....how much data do you use in a typical month? What are your streaming habits, and how many people do you typically have streaming at a time?

Looking at my Internet plan with Cox, it has a data cap of 1 TB. We don't stream much right now but have signed up for DirecTV Now and will be getting rid of Cox cable. I don't believe there are overage charges for exceeding the 1 TB cap but they will throttle speeds after exceeding the cap.

Why don't you just go with the ATT uverse internet? That way you won't have to worry about the data cap and you can bundle and get cheaper internet.

I've been saving around 100$ since losing Cox. Such a great decision!

OK, I had it with DTV after having them for 20 years.

So, I have ATT DSL, which is the only service for me.

To replace DTV, what will I need? I have 4 TV's that I need to work.

I just about read this complete thread and for a old guy, I lost.

I know I will have to install a OTA antenna. What else is needed? Got to the 27 of the month to get things going.

Thanks. Oh, please explain it to me like you would be explaining it to your GrandPaw.

LINK / - This will tell you your internet speed. Let me know that.

Second..what channels are a must watch for your household? And what area are you in? You might not be in range for an antenna.

Not really sure what you can do. Uverse is an option if they'll let you use their service.

Anyone know if you can install kodi on a smart TV with roku built into the TV?

Edit: I see that kodi is not compatible with non Android devices.

Well, the cord is cut. On my second OTA antenna which I will have to change out again. I'm about 30 air miles from Baton Rouge and I am only catching a few channels. Also, that antenna is feeding 5 TV's and half of them are only catching 2 or three channels. Very long cable runs using RG6 cable.

So, is there a amp I can get to boost the signal?

What kind of box or whatever it is called so I can connect DTV on the go?

I did order A Sling thing. Also looking at a Roku box. Keep in mine that I have 5 TV's to feed with really only three that a used at any time. So, what will be the best way for me to be able to use these TV's at the same time with different channels?

Thanks for y'all's help.

I am 30 miles away from Montgomery and also have 5 tv sets connected to antenna.

I use the channel master distribution amplifier with good results. LINK

I recently installed Kodi on my FireStick and then I uploaded Titanium.(don't kill me if that's not the right terminology) I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a music addon in Titanium. I would like to be able to watch concerts from any bands of my choosing. Does anyone know if this is possible?

I cut the cord. I have a fire stick in one room and I use the PS4 in another. Im worried about being able to watch the Braves this year. Im in the blackout area, so MLB.TV is out, and I cant figure out if I can get Fox Sports South through either device. Anyone know the answer?
