Does anyone have any experience with Playon Tv LINK ? Gives you the ability to record streaming services like Netflix, etc.

I've got one tv set up with a fire tv box running TVMC version of Kodi. I've had it set up several months now but have kept cable because the streams seem to be not so consistent, either dropping service or just not staying up to date.

Is TVMC still a good source to go through? Or are these other builds y'all are talking about better?

The new flavor add-ons to replace Genesis is Velocity and DubStop. I've had success streaming tv series and movies with both in the last 2-3 weeks.

Have you flirted with TRAKT.TV for Velocity? I think it's pretty damn solid

See I would know these things if you would just come back to the backchannel...

nah. I've seen it and wondered what it was.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's a website you sign up for, but past that, how does it work?

waiting on an invite or a vote to be let back in!

Also, I'm kind of experimenting with different Kodi builds at the moment. Trying a different one every week. Haven't found one i like outside of fusion, still. But definitely definitely don't get BEAST. super bloated.

I sent an invite, but you can also look in your chat history and rejoin. Today's topic of interest is podcasts.

It's basically a website that allows you to organize your tv shows and movies. Can go directly from the site and add shows and movies to watch lists.

Search Game of Thrones on TRAKT.TV, add to watch list, and go on Velocity and it's there. No more typing necessary on your fire stick

Niiice!

That was my old lady's first complaint about Velocity. There's no "favorites"

Just make sure you add it to "watch lists". It appears anything else you add it to doesn't work.

There's a TV watch list and a Movie watch list

Riddle me this. How would I get MTV shows without a provider login outside of Sling? My wife may riot if she can't watch Teen Mom and the teen pregnant shows

haven't installed velocity yet, but does it search like genesis searched? for example, when you click on a link that doesn't work, genesis would just take you back to the screen full of links and you pick another one. on SALTS, when a link doesnt' work, you have to re-search them all again, and it'll often bring up a completely new list of results.

LINK

it's an add on that allows you to create folders and sub folders to store favorites in, at least that's what I use it for

i believe so.

for example. we have been watching Shameless.

I search Shameless instead of going thru the genres. I select a season, then an episode, then chose a stream. if the stream doesn't work, it takes me back to the list of available streams.

that what you are asking?
