Trying to Switch from AT&T to Verizon-Unlimited Data Related

I am grandfathered on At&t's unlimited data plan and my current bill is $111 a month.
I use on avg 9 gigs a month for the last 24 billing cycles.
I was interested in Verizon's new promotion paying off my next plan balance on my iPhone 6. (Which I am upside down on lol).
Verizon offers an XL plan that is $80 plus my company discount of 19%. Then factor in the cost of an LG V10 ($23.80) and everything is looking good. However, their fine print says there is a $20 monthly access fee. Now I'm right back at my current bill.
After asking customer service to waive the fee and them telling me no. I guess I'll just stick with where I am at.
Seems like Verizon would waive that fee if it meant stealing a customer from AT&T.

Yep, not waving a fee would turn me away fast.

That's the per line fee. You are buying a bucket of data for $80/month, then unlimited voice and txt for $20/month. If you had 2 lines, the cost of the data wouldn't change (unless you needed more data), but your overall bill would go up $20.
Would you be able to use your iPhone 6 on Verizon? How much could you sell it for to put towards buying a Verizon phone?

I'm not sure... But I do know I owe $525 to AT&T for the phone and they sell on eBay brand new in box for $425 haha

Sell your iPhone on Swappa for 350, buy the LG on Swappa for 500, then sign up on Verizon and pay 85 per month after your employee discount. You'll come out ahead after 8 months.
