Every year they give MLB.TV Premium for free. You have to register from a phone or tablet. This means live baseball games.

Yeah, that's pretty nice. Too bad MLB is still arcane with their black out restrictions.

I used a friend of mines last year. He has no interest in baseball and just gave me his login info. I had no problems.

I'm not sure what you're asking. It's just a regular MLBtv subscription. You just need the email it's attached too. It has nothing to do with what phone carrier you are on. Think of it like using your friends HBO go or Netflix account.
