Just did it and wasn't much of a change. I live in a shitty Sprint coverage area also. I'll check it out tomorrow

I use the app signal check lite to see which band in running on... Band 41 is supposed to be really fast... I'm on the edge of it right now but I'm pleased with 30 something..

Glad to help... Been pleased with sprint.. Been with them 12 years... for the first time they are actually doing some good things in the last year with the spark network and all... And more to come..

I hung on to to Sprint forever hoping for the best. From the Wimax debacle that we never even got official support for in NOLA through the wildly unimpressive LTE rollout. I really wanted to hang longer but I just had the go. Now I absolutely love Tmo, but I'm glad to see Sprint finally starting to get their act together here. They lost a lifetime customer with me by taking too long to upgrade their network. I don't see myself leaving Tmo any time soon, but it would be nice if Sprint was was at least an option if Tmo started messing up.
