Sony Bravia LCD Television Problem

I got this TV back in 2012, and the left side of the screen is dark and inverted when you turn it on. It started doing this about a few months ago.
After it warms up for about 10-15 minutes, it goes back to normal.
Can anyone give me a quick diagnosis from what I just described and how much it would cost to fix it?

I have a Bravia xbr4 that I bought when it reached end of life, 2006 maybe. A few months after I got it, it did something similar. Had to bring it to the shady tv repairman on coursey. They replaced the entire LCD panel.
It started to do the same thing about six months ago but I'm just going to ride it out until I replace it. I've gotten into the habit of turning it on 20 minutes before I plan on watching it.
