FYI most TVs do not pass 5.1 through the optical out on the TV. So you will not get 5.1 surround from the Sonos setup. You have to use a device that pulls the audio from the hdmi between the tv and the source.

I have my playbar connected via optical audio cable and I can't hear a delay

You hear a bit of echo because the speakers are in close rooms, but no delay
