Safari, Chrome and Opera. I use them for regular sites I visit and reminders, sort of a to do list, especially for work.

One for work, one for personal and one for pleasure;). What ya got?

Not that many but close

Most of them are for for projects I haven't finished or how to guides for all manner of things.

Eta work tabs are getting out of control as well. SharePoint, Salesforce, zorki, paycom, servicenow, azure change management, etc

I know. I'm kinda surprised myself it was that many. But it's mostly sort of like a huge to do list.

Who checks voicemail?

Gmail is up to around 6,000 unread messages but I keep everything since Google says it's free. The one email I delete will end up costing me a warranty or something.

Pro tip:
Close all your tabs quickly by pressing and holding the squares at the bottom right. A menu will open and the first option will be to close all tabs.

Pro tip #2 bookmarks are a thing so you don't need 68 mf'n tabs open as a to-do list

Been down that road once. Ended up with 168 bookmarks and had no idea what most of them were even for a few years later

I'm team No-bookmarks

I think we need to distinguish between mobile and desktop tabs. Everything you click on opens a new tab in mobile, and some of that stuff you haven't actually looked at in five months.

On a desktop, I have 68 open in Brave, 22 in Edge, and I rebooted my PC last night. I'm using 6GB of RAM between those two browsers at the moment.

while true; browsers 'inactivate' dormant tabs these days meaning the page is cached and not active until you click on the tab so ram abuse is limited.
