So i bought a HP Elitebook 6930p......

from a garage sale for 50 bucks. Works like a charm has windows 7 Professional on it.
It does not have a HDMI cable, all it has is a VGA out
Anybody know what i need to connect it to HDMI?? I heard alot about audio so i want to buy the right stuff.
Amazon would be good. Thanks.

Vga to hdmi adapter. Go to amazon and search that. You'll find what you need

VGA does not carry audio. So, you need an adapter that has a line-in. Plug the audio cable into the laptop's headphone jack and the adapter will covert both the analog audio and video signals. This should do the trick, but you'd need a cheap HDMI cable as well: LINK
Even though the first pic doesn't show a USB cable for some reason, it is an active converter (uses USB power to convert the signals). Reviews indicate it comes with the USB cable even though the first photo doesn't show it.

Does it not have a display port? I have about 30 elite books. I forget the model #s though and it uses a display port adapter
