So Google changed Chromecast to Home but Google Home can't control it

Shouldn't you be able to tell your Chromecast/home device to pay a certain movie on Netflix or to play and pause via voice?

Echo and Fire were missing this interaction for quite a while and they JUST fixed it last week. It really is crazy how very simple features take forever to get added to "new" platforms.

It can. It's probably the feature I use the most. "Hey Google, Play Ozark on Bedroom." You can play and pause, go back to the previous episode, skip to the next episode, and rewind or fast forward by whatever amount of time you specify.
I like being able to use the Google Home to start and control multiple Chromecasts at once.

Make sure you have your TV/Chromecast added under the devices in the Home app.
I just say hey Google, play Fox News Live on Youtube in the living room, and it turns the tv on and launches everything up like the previous poster said.

You've been able to do this since Home released. I think each app has to support it though.
