Shortcut to Desktop in Windows 10?

I got online this morning only to find that Microsoft had forced the upgrade to Windows 10 on me.
The main problem I am seeing is I am no longer able to quickly get back to the desktop. The button I would click on the right hand side of the toolbar has been stolen.
Can anyone help me with a quick way to minimize all windows and get me back to the desktop?

I recently updated to 10 also, but the button is still there. You sure you tried to click on the right side?

It is in fact still there. It is almost off of the screen but is there none the less.
I also learned about the key board shortcut on here as well.

You want to get to the settings menu. On the left side look for "Start".
Under "Use Start full screen", set that to "Off".
Let me know if that fixes the problem. My sister has the same issue.
