GAMECHANGERS!
I've shat on Samsung in the past but they've really improved. If only they'd get rid of TouchWiz...
And if Samsung Pay works like they say it will, that'll be incredible.

Both also have 16-megapixel rear-facing cameras (which now stream live to YouTube), not to mention sealed 3,000mAh batteries and gorgeous 5.7-inch, Quad HD, Super AMOLED screens. Throw in support for LTE category 9 and LoopPay's wireless, credit-card-imitating MST technology and you've got yourself a pretty impressive package right out of the gate. In case you're already itching to own one, the wait won't be a long one: It'll be available from all US carriers starting on August 21st, though we're still waiting to hear from them about pricing.

Samsung Pay, the Korean electronics giant's shiny new mobile payment solution, is finally hitting the US on September 28. Ahead of that, we got a brief look at Samsung Pay in action on its new Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Note 5 phones. We didn't get to try it out ourselves, unfortunately, but Samsung reps were able to show it off in a (heavily scripted) demo. While Samsung Pay offers NFC payments just like Apple Pay, its real differentiating feature is its ability to mimic traditional magnetic card swipes, technology which came over with Samsung's acquisition of LoopPay earlier this year. That means it should be compatible with the vast majority of stores with standard credit card readers -- no need to hunt down NFC-equipped registers. A beta test for Samsung Pay will kick off in the US this month, though details on that are sparse. The feature is also compatible with the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, but you're out of luck if you're running older handsets.

Note 5's design looks just like the s6 which is a beautiful well built phone.
I had a Note 2 and liked it....although I think the s6 size is probably the sweet spot for me.

Hope they give more support for the Note 5 than they did for the Note 4.

My Note 3 is jealous of the 5 because it knows I want.

That keyboard attachment is comical.

My Note 4 is a hunk of shite. I have to go outside of any building to have a phone conversation and the wifi connection sucks too. Samsung says I live in an area with bad reception.....2 miles from downtown Dallas.....I can put my Simm back into my Note 1 and all is good. I have an LG on the way. Anybody want this Note 4?

I have one and have no real gripe but the battery life from lollipop switch and lack of support. The phone it self is good.

My Note 4 is easily the best Samsung I've ever owned, and I think Samsung is pretty mediocre.
I like the aesthetics of this one, although I like the aesthetics of the Note 4 too. But they're big phones, so they go in a case for me, and it doesn't matter all that much.
As for Samsung, why on earth must they continue using clownish colors and childish icons in TW? Look at LG, look at HG. Both manage to put their twist on Android (unnecessary, but whatever) without making it look like a kid's phone.

No doubt but that's one horrible looking keyboard. Anyone used to the BlackBerry keyboard experience would laugh at that thing. Samsung has made good looking keyboards in the past. Why not just make an updated version of that?

I'm not sure... just going by looks.... but it looks like the note5 keyboard doesn't function independently. You push the key, the keyboard touches the screen for input. That could explain why it looks so modular.

Sucks that they got rid of expandable sd card memory

Can't remove the battery is a game changer for me.
