Rundown on Agile Development

I currently hold an administrative job that deals with software development companies. I haven't had a chance to work directly with software developers, but I was wondering if there were some good resources available online that anyone could recommend where I could learn more about the agile development process. Additionally, it could be beneficial to see how ideas from lean manufacturing have been incorporated into the development process.
