Does anyone know how get original packaging for a TV? I have an 85" TV that I need to move, but I don't have the original box the TV came in. I've called the manufacturer and have not had any luck with them yet.

Is there another company of some sort that I should contact? Has anyone had this issue before and been able to resolve it?

ETA: The model number is XBR85X950B

No, not at all.

Just really need the original box and I'm not having any luck, so I am curious if anyone else could give me some useful advice.

You might look for a generic one. A quick google found this TV moving box at Home Depot, LINK but it only fits up to 70 inches.

Yeah, I saw that and a few others, but they seem to only go up to 70" for some reason.

As a kid, my dad always kept the boxes, so I tend to do the same. You may try Best Buy or Sears to see if they are about to unbox any large TVs. Or maybe if geek squad does an install, they may be able to save you the box. Other than that, drive around on trash day and look for one on the curb.

you are better off with large straps they use to move furniture...you can adjust those to suit your needs.

I dunno the price

"the container store" may have that

A shipping store can probably make you a custom box for $10-15
