PS Vue issues streaming ESPN

I can get a solid stream on EVERYTHING else on PS Vue subscriptions...but the freaking WatchESPN app on apple tv is always giving me trouble.
Anyone know why?

watchESPN was giving me issues last night too. Game worked fine on DirecTV Now, though.

Was ESPN on PS Vue giving you trouble, or the WatchESPN app? I wasn't having issues with the ESPN channel on PS Vue last night. Not sure what could be wrong with the WatchESPN app, but an uninstall, clearing its data cache, and reinstall is a good first step.

I think that issue was on ESPN's side of the equation and not our end. I was having issues with WatchESPN as well but other streaming services were fine.
I have DTVNow and I had a few issues with connections on ESPN.

Meh - I had a few buffering issues with PSVue trying to watch the game last night. Had to switch back to cable.
I'm trying to get myself to cut the cord - in my PSVue free trial right now...last night did not convince me. I did not think to try the WatchESPN app.
I'm running my Apple TV on Wifi though so that may have been part of the problem. I will be running a hard line this weekend.

PS Vue is a mess. I had buffering problems during my free trial so nixed it.

Ps vue is amazing.
I've had it since February and passed up on the DTV offer because I had no issues at all.

Bumping this for interrelated but not exact topic - I can't log in to PS Vue on the watchespn app. Not a provider option. Trying on iphone. Did I miss something as far as a divorce? ESPN channels are still on Vue.

No it should still let you use watch ESPN
