Could anyone tell me about this vpn or others and how they protect your phone?

A VPN isn't going to keep you safe from clicking malicious links

A VPN encrypts your data, it doesn't protect you from bad links or viruses.

Use a cloud browser like Puffin. It sandboxes everything on their cloud server and mirrors it back to the browser on your device. Sorta works like a VPN but more isolated.
