I never really wanted a larger phone, but assuming the battery is much better, I may go with the 5.5 inch.

Bigger phones are legit, bro. I want the LG G3, but I'm waiting to see what Apple shows today. I doubt I get blown away, but it will probably be enough to keep me on Apple since I'm balls deep in their ecosystem.

frick, it's just a phone...

Get it. Just got mine yesterday and it's a beast. Gonna root it tonight. And when the nexus 6 comes out in a few months, may sell the g3 and get it.

I went to radio shack yesterday and they gave me 139 dollars for my HTC m7. So I walked out with the G3 and a gift card because they owed me money. The G3 was only 99 dollars.

When November 3rd rolls around for you, you won't have to wait.

I've already posted it, but again, I got my iPhone 5 on Nov 2, 2012 from and ATT store. Shipping time was still 2 weeks from apple.com. The ATT sales rep told me they only had black 64 GB at that time so that's what I got. So you'll more than likely be able to get and iPhone come Nov 3rd, but if you want it that day you may have to settle for a model you don't want.

I don't know what I will do for my next upgrade. I'll probably stick with a 16GB iPhone 5.5 inch. I don't mind waiting for my next upgrade. Hopefully my next iPhone will stick it out till I get the 2015 new iPhone.

Is it just me or has the rumor mill been relatively quiet this go around?

That could mean one of two things: 1) we may actually get a surprise or two or 2) there just isn't much to get excited about

Seems like there have been more leaks than prior events, so it could be neither

When it comes to the IPhone 6 the rumor mills are as typical. But there is the Iwatch which is still a couple quarters away from being released, so there is nothing to leak. I think Apple has kept a pretty tight seal on the Iwatch. Many people are saying this is one of the most important september events for apple in the past few years. It has been a while wince Apple has released a new line of products, and not just an upgrade to previous products. The only thing is this product is behind everyone else, if they don't do something to blow the others out the water, this will be a widely unsuccessful event.

I'm interested in the health stuff. I run marathons and am a little snobbish about my running tech. Most health apps/devices so far have been mostly gimmicks that aren't accurate enough to be used for anything other than relative activity. Add in that it's a bitch to run long distances with a phone. I'm hoping the iWatch comes through on this.

This probably won't be announced today, but what I'm most excited for is the health app. I have a few apps that track my health, are those all going to be integrated on day 1 or will it take some time to integrate.

I use Fitbit
WebMD
Nike+ running.
I may also use C25K

My guess is on day one of iOS those will integrate into one. (with the exception of C25K

Yup.

The supply chain leaks like crazy now.

No component leaks means no iWatch is currently being built. Apple is likely introducing it way ahead of actual launch because they feel a little heat to show off something new.

I'm with you on this. My concern would be the durability of the iwatch that's not in a case and you're sweating all over it. Though, I can't imagine the iwatch replacing the garmin for me.
