Finally cut the cord a few weeks ago and got an Amazon Fire TV with Kodi and DTV Now. Also got the 35 mile Amazon antenna. I'm in Pineville and I get all the locals except ABC. When I look at the signal map I should be receiving an ABC signal. I've tried different positions and still nothing.

Just realized the game is on ABC tomorrow so I'm looking for an antenna fix. WatchEspn should probably have it but I'd rather watch over air due to data caps.

Anyone else have this issue?

I'm near the same area but have a 50 mile antenna and am able to get ABC. I do not get Fox however. Probably easiest solution is to pick up a bigger antenna and return the amazon one.

I'm not in your area but I have decent antennas both indoors and outdoors and a lot of the time I have to move them 360degrees to find that "sweet spot" for certain channels.

The station antenna is 19 miles from my house. I'll play around with the leaf some more and I think I have an older rabbit ear antenna in the closet I can dig out.

I live on hoo shoo too and run into a lot of problems with ABC. I will have a strong signal one day and then the next day have no signal.

Use two antenna. One pointed at the channels you have no problem with and one pointed at the other. Use a combined to merge them, but be sure to use RG-6 cable for each, both of the same equal length from each antenna to the two inputs on the combined. This should solve your problem.

Managed to pick it up in another bedroom but couldn't get decent quality at any angle. Looks like I'll be streaming.

Where is your antenna? In your attic?

No, just using it high on the wall. Haven't gone as far to putting one in the attic.

you need to put it in the attic and have someone watch the tv till it picks up the station. If you have the flat antenna, trying placing it high but parallel to the ground. Doesn't make sense, but he seems to help for a lot of people, including me until I upgraded to a bigger antenna.

That pretty much explains everything.
