Just something I can listen to vinyl, gaming and movies through my Onkyo.

My budget is around $200.

Just ordered the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x from here for $99

Great headphones and the best price that I've ever seen on them. Free shipping too. Jump on them while you can.

I like the original Bose Triport. I have had one since 2006 and they sound as good as new. Use them everyday at work and gym.

In the current incarnation, they are called -
SoundTrue™ around-ear headphones.

If you are looking for earphones - their In-ear series is really good. I have used them since they were introduced.

I've got Sennheiser Momentums and really enjoy them.

If you like bass heavy music they aren't for you though

I know they're $300.....but the Bose Q25's are f'n sweet. If I were going to spend $200 anyway, might as well spring for the extra $100. I also have some of the Bose earbuds with microphone. Those were only about $120 and no noise-cancelling......but I really, really, like them. Perfect for work.

HD598s are 150 bucks on Amazon. Assuming you don't need to travel frequently, they'd be a great choice. Great phones, arguably the best overall consumer headphone for the money of the last 5 years or so.
