Need Help Deciding On A Microsoft Surface Pro

On a facebook local selling page, someone is selling a Microsoft Surface Pro (im assuming 1st gen) for $150. What are the major differences between the 1st gen and the 2/3/4? Anyone have a link that I can read in regards to the comparisons of all of them. Just want to make sure this is a good deal.

The Surface 1 had very poor battery life. I wouldn't waste my money on it.
The 2 is a solid device with better battery life but is thick for a tablet and has a small screen.
The Surface 3 & 4 are great devices-good battery life and larger screen.
It also depends on which processor/RAM version you're getting vs. your usage of the device as to whether it will meet your needs.
Hope this helps.
edt: personally if it was me I would want to see the device before buying it. Some Surfaces have had issues with light bleed. Also find out if it comes with a keyboard or if you'll need to provide your own.

I'd stick to the Surface Pro 3 or 4. I had a Surface Pro 2 and liked it but found it a little small and the battery drained pretty quickly.
Also, if you plan on ever using the pen to write or sign docs, etc., the Surface Pro 4 is the best bet. Make sure that whatever you buy, you factor in that it either (a) has a keyboard sold with it or (b) factor in having to buy the keyboard with the device.

Thanks for the replies guys. It does in fact come with a keyboard and it is a Surface Pro 2. I haven't had a chance to see it in person, but the photos look good.

A Surface Pro 2 w/keyboard for $150 sounds like a very good deal. I bought mine 3 years ago and still use it as my primary laptop. Battery life is functional but not great and it is heavy for the size. Still, it's a solid piece of tech.
The keyboard by itself is ~$30-40

For $150 with a keyboard a SP2 is probably a pretty good deal again assuming you don't mind the smaller screen and the processor & RAM fit your needs.
