I have a multimedia drop amplifier. How do I know if it is compatible with my HD Antenna?

The chances are that it probably will be, as most of them are rated up to about 850 MHz (give or take). VHF works between 30 MHz and 300 MHz. UHF is between 300 MHz and 3 GHz, but OTA broadcasts never really go above 700 MHz. For example: Most of the UHF stations come in about 600 MHz here in the Houston area. All of that just depends on the station and what frequency they pay to broadcast in. TV should be between 470 and 698 from what I just looked up.

If your drop amp came from the cable company, it probably has a range between 5 MHz and 1002 MHz. This will work as well.

The specs for it should be listed right on the amp. If it says it's 700+ on the high end, you're good to go.

Hope this helps.

It's like a foreign language to me lol
It says forward path 54-1000mhz+18dB
return path 5-42 mhz-1dB

Does this tell you anything?
Will it work with my HD antenna?
