I personally like the bridges with two outlets.

Install an outlet behind your TV if you're a handy man. That's what we did and it is awesome.

the home depot kit includes a conduit for the signal cable and little gaskets to put over each end to help with insulation plus its cheaper than monoprice.

i don't see anything with that monoprice kit that looks more compelling except if you want a rectangular wall plate instead of round.

ETA here's the home depot kit 'installed'.

Note the power cable is "attached" via rubber bands loosely to the outside of the shielded conduit you run all the signal cables through to avoid interference

the conduit can also be cut if your tv position on the wall is lower down.

YOU NEED AT LEAST 10FT ETHERNET & HDMI CABLES (if you're plugging stuff in on a table or stand in front of the bottom outlet.

plan accordingly.

you see where i put 'installed' in quotes?

i was showing how this is different than the monoprice kit which doesn't have the conduit for the signal cables.

the home depot kit is just nicer all-around and literally can be installed in less than 15 minutes.

Ah, you never know with CAD. Anything to save a Brentwood buck.

That conduit looks like a pain in the arse. I'd buy the monoprice one or call a C4 dealer to do it.

I installed something like this. I really liked it but it was close to $60 so i probably did overpay. I have zero complaints about the quality though.

in what way? it installed in seconds and pushing 3 HDMI, 1 toslink and 1 ethernet cable through it was a breeze without getting insulation and sheetrock dust all over the cables.

plus the monoprice one is $20 more after you add in shipping.

you could bitch about anything
