I got a pair of these headphones for Christmas: LINK

They have a detachable cable, and it got me thinking if it would be possible to use some sort of bluetooth receiver to make them wireless for use with my phone. Was looking at something like this: LINK

For someone with a little more knowledge on how this might work, is there something I'm missing? Do the headphones get power from the phone that it wouldn't get from such a device? It seems like I would just be swapping car speakers (the intended purpose) for my headphones right?

Yes.

If you want wireless headphones you need to purchase wireless headphones. No power supply, no play.

Alright thanks. Not a big deal that they aren't wireless, just thought if it was something I could change on the cheap it would be fun.
