That's not a particularly outlandish hope/wish for productivity software.

If Vista (2006) wasn't supported in Office 2013 then I didn't really see Snow Leopard (2008) being supported in Office 2016.

I didn't realize that Vista didn't have 2013 support. I was basing that off XP having 2010 support. Oh well. Guess my macbook will turn even more into a special-purpose box.

I've got an Imac with 10.6 on it that baiscialy runs I life 11, LibreOffice, and Chrome. Could update it to Yosemite but worried about speed. Does fine for what I need it to do.

i wonder if this update will have the full macro functions.

ive had two instances where downloaded spreadsheets wouldnt work correctly on the mac version
