Looking for a storage device to stream to an iPad without wifi

Basically, the wifi at my job sucks and I usually load 4 movies or so to get me through 8 nights but 4 movies isn't enough.
I bought a Bluetooth flash drive about a year ago that was kind of hit or miss. Also, it didn't carry over subtitles.
Will this work ? LINK

I use this, turn the DLNA service on and plug in a USB drive. It is basically a router with a built in battery. Very handy.
I should have looked at your link. I would pay the extra for the elite. The foldable prongs make it so you never lose the cord.

Do you ever have any problems playing movie files?

Eh, not for anything I have tried, but I haven't tried any crazy high quality rips. What sorta bitrate are your files? I can pull some similar ones off my Plex box and try them out if you want.

Most of my stuff came from converted dvds

VLC on my OG Note 10.1 can handle h. 264 videos up to about 10gb in size. Anything larger than that and it begins to struggle. Crap movies/shows that I rip for kids or wife play fine.

Yeah, most of mine are around 3-4 gb
