I am planning on dropping my cable and trying out the streaming thing for all my TV needs. Has anyone installed Kodi on a Nexus Player and how has it worked out? Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I have installed Kodi on the player but don't really know where to go from there? What addons do you have?

Reason #1 for getting Exodus: Screenshot from my phone:

BTW - I still go to the movies every now and then, but RARELY get the Blu-Ray anymore. Just went to see John Wick. More killings than a movie should have, and in spite of the good reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, the sheer number of shootings were dwarfed only by the amount of un-popped popcorn kernels in my big bowl of popcorn.

As I posted in the thread at the top I can't get mine to work. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I downloaded Kodi from play store.

You can't get Kodi to work or Exodus to work?

If Kodi doesn't work, did you try to sideload Kodi instead of directly from the play store? You'll need to install ES File Explorer first.
Sideload instructions

Once installed, check this out for the latest version of Kodi setup.

Also, don't forget to install Mobdro (a stand-alone app that is not in the Play Store) on Nexus player. Nothing beats it when it comes to Live TV. of course, you will need ES File Explorer installed first for sideloading.

Mobdro Installation

Let me know how it goes. Good luck
