I'm looking into getting a kindle fire, trying to decide between the 6 and 7. Also trying to decide if it is worth it to get 8GB vs 16GB? Any advice?

I have a 1st gen 8GB and that space fills up pretty quick. You'll probably be fine for apps and such, but where I ran into space problems was when I tried to copy movie files over for watching stuff on trips while not on wifi. If you see yourself trying to do that, get 16GB.

Regarding the size, I haven't seen the 6, but I wouldn't want it to be much smaller than the 7. This TV Screen Size calculator might help you compare the 2 LINK /

I have the original Fire and love it. I mainly use it for reading and the occasional TV or movie streaming. And some browsing. I want the new 6 because it seems like it would be more portable.
