Shoot, sounds more like the jokes on whoever pays that much for that little service! I remember seeing people trying to sell them for $90 on Facebook sell sites around last Christmas. I just laughed at all the people flocking there asking questions and wanting one..

I only do a few here and there. I usually barter for beer or a service rather than cash.

I have a written "instruction manual" that I pack with it so that they can reference that and don't call me with every little question.

Kodi is great. Pretty simple to load. The only add on I really use is Exodus. I'm mostly just using it for movies. Not much else.

We don't have cable but enjoy watching a series with my wife..I usually don't have the time to sit and watch a movie but can catch a 30 minute show. Can find anything that's out including Netflix originals. I do use it for movies to but more so for my kids and their shows. I have it on my phone and use that for ufc fights with sports devil.

I didn't realize you can add it to a phone. Will any smartphone take it?

Kodi installs pretty simply. There are videos all over the youtubez.

With being out of the house due to flooding (living with the in-laws), I've been using Kodi to keep up with shows I've missed. New episodes are usually posted within an hour or so after it ended its first broadcast.

I guess in a way.. kodi is basically a platform that others develop builds for to install on top of to watch movies or tv shows...

It allows for streaming of any media. Pretty much everything out there is available on it (my primary go-to is Exodus).

On my phone and my firestick yes. My kids are able to navigate it with ease..I've even showed them how to reinstall exodus because sometimes it will disappear and you just have to reinstall it.
