Adobe got hacked and Flash Player supposedly contains a virus. I was wondering if it had been patched and was safe to download.

adobe.com
your browser should automatically block the old flash
like was said earlier...go right to adobe and get it.

Don't click on any popup screen that offers you Adobe. Google Adobe and go directly to the Adobe website and get a free download.

I guarantee you that if you download it direct from Adobe of will not have a virus.

wrong
A "zero day" vulnerability in Flash was recently announced. It has been patched by Adobe. There have been about 10 zero days for Flash announced this year. Par for the course.
a zero day doesn't mean it has a virus
