Otterbox preserve series, or otter box armor.

Otterbox preserve series, or otter box armor.

Both limited availability. The armor case is a freaking brick vault.

LifeProof is your best bet for a smaller functional case.

I really like the non waterproof cases from pelican but their waterproof ones are way too bulky. Prob just stick with life proof

Depends on the device. ibattz and snowlizard have some pretty badass cases if your looking at something not for everyday use. Both are waterproof and have backup power. The snowlizard also has a solar panel for trickle charge.

I have a Catalyst case for my 6 plus. For what it is it's not terribly bulky but of course it does add a decent amount of bulk. I haven't tested it in water yet but I've seen really good reviews on it. You could look into that as another option.

ETA: I don't know if it will get worse with use but the few phone calls I've had with the case on I heard the caller and they heard me perfectly fine.

I had a Lifeproof but didn't really care for it. I found that it muffled the sound too much when talking and also killed the sensitivity of the screen. Some people like them though,,

I have the lifeproof nuud on my 6+. For me personally, it's the best case. It might not be the best for the next person though.

It may muffle the sound some but I rarely use the external speakers for anything. I have bluetooth speaker, car, and headphones.

Also, the plastic covering stretches and makes using the touch screen difficult over time.

They make a "nuud" version where the screen remains exposed. I used it for taking underwater pictures snorkeling in Turks & Caicos.
