iPhone Lost Service (HELP!!!!!)

My iPhone 5s lost service today. I can use the wifi when I have it, but no cell
Coverage.
I have updated the ios10 and this does not help. I need help ASAP as my wife is in the hospital prepping for birth.

How about go to the hospital and be with your wife and give your phone to someone else to dick with while you watch your child being born.

If really as dire needs as u say you can go to a grocery store and buy a$9.99 flip phone and buy a $10 plan for emergency calls for it.
For the iPhone:
Download a wifi calling app. Usually they give u a few free calls for free.
With the wifi call call your carrier and get help
Could be SIM card... go to Walmart or gas station and buy a prepaid SIM card if it's that urgent and see if the new carrier gets you a signal

They don't really matter right now and there is no real way to diagnosis your phone with the information we have about it. Could be lots of things causing it to not have service. Call someone from the hospital and give them the room number to call you and get a family member to figure out what's going on with the phone. See if you can borrow a family members phone.

Does your wife have a phone you can use? Doubt she will be using it while in labor.
