iPhone Keyboard Issue

Since updating to iOS9, when I open text messages my keyboard will be missing for a few seconds. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I googled the problem and didn't really see much that I haven't already tried. Anyone know how to fix this? TIA

You need to give more info. What model iPhone and are you talking about the standard keyboard or a 3rd party keyboard? Just googling your symptoms the only relevant hits I saw were people seeing this with 3rd party keyboards like swype.

This looks like it might be a little dated, but this has been an issue before LINK / Their solution is to try a hard reset where you push the power and home button at the same time to restart your phone.

I've tried that one other than restoring my phone. I was hoping it wouldn't come to that..

I have the same iOS 9 issue on my work iphone5. I find most tasks/apps are delayed/slower not just typing.

That's happened to me on my new 6S a couple a times but i assumed it was cause I was using a third party keyboard.

No 3rd party keyboard for me. I reset it....HARD... bc it was being a naughty little phone... We'll see if it gets its shite together
