Internet Options For Rural Area

Asking for a friend. Obviously company #2 is cheaper, but are the national brands better? Data cap? These 2 companies offer unlimited data. I told my friend they better come with a free massage for those prices. On phone so excuse me for any typos.

I just threw up a little in my mouth.
But rural options are generally like that. Are these just local companies that have leased a fiber connection from somewhere and using wifi towers? Those can be more reliable than satellite, even though they're slower. With these two companies, I'd find out what kind of connection it is. I'd also compare those prices with satellite internet options like Hughsnet, but keep in mind that there will be data caps with hughsnet and the like, pretty bad ones too.
