I currently have a 4s that apparently runs slow because it's not on the old system? I'm guessing 4 g or LTE, I'm not really tech savy.

I haven't updated it in years, and now the apps wont even work and I certainly can't download new ones.

I don't really need a 6, a new 5s would be great for me, I'm assuming it would be cheaper as well.

Am I missing anything by going with the 5s and not 6?

I have a catering company, talk on it all day, so battery life is important. I also text a lot.

I have ATT, if that matters.

I don't really use any bandwith, never use music and only use internet to look up a few pages of info a day, or a phone number, GPS. Never stream anything.

Any advise would be great.

Are there different options to buy? I usually buy a new phone every 5 years or so

I meant were you going through the carrier or buying it from somewhere else like ebay, craigslist, etc.

I'd go with the 6. If you're gonna do their Next payment plan, the monthly cost difference won't been much of anything.

If you keep your phone for 5 years, I'd go eith the 6. It will be able to handle updates longer than the 5s.
