Have a mounted TV with all that running through the wall. Then between all the tech on the TV console a lot of wires end up dangling behind the console. Tips on how to keep them concealed?

Buy a track to conceal them. Paint the same color as wall.

What is in/on the other side of that wall?

Generally, it is pretty simple to cut a hole, fish cords, and install a floating wall plate bracket.

I really liked this one. Pretty easy to install if you're handy.

I should have been more clear. There are no wires from the TV to the console. The TV is beautifully mounted and the power and HDMI runs through the wall and right into the console and sync box. Then on the console there's a PS5, an Xbox, modem tucked away, Philips bridge and sync box, and some Hue lights. With all that it's just a shitload of wires running among itself at ground level just below the console plugged into a power strip down there.

So it's a cable management issue?

Sounds like a job for youtube university.

My wife thinks I'm a cable management nut but consoles are hard. Mostly because you likely want to move it semi regularly to clean and/or hook up new stuff, so you don't want to set up much in the way of tie wraps or even velcro ties, imo, because it's time consuming to redo it all tome and time again.

An ides that I've had that haven't executed on is... Boxes. Something like this in or behind your console.. just shove cables in it lol.

Generally the only solution to that (I know, because I've dealt with it) is to embrace the mess and relocate it: Put the power strip inside of the console and pull all excess cabling inside. Yes, it will make (at least a portion of) the interior of the console a mess, but that's pretty much your only option, outside of some serious cable management hardware being added.

I bought a few of these and customized the ports to whatever hook-up connection I had on my TV (4 HDMI inserts for the 4 HDMI ports, Cat-5/6 connection, Coax...)

I then bought short cords to run from my wall to my console to minimize the clutter. I mounted my power strip to the bottom of the console, but making sure it's off the ground, then zip tied the shite out of everything

But, my issue was more about controlling the dust and making clean-up easier, than sight.

This, putting power strip in console to have only one wire to the power outlet will help.

If your console has a back, long Velcro strips along the back of the cabinet to hold excess wire.

and as hulk pointed out, the second you have every single cable nicely grouped, organized and zip-tied, you will have to add/remove/swap/take the component out for some other super random reason and you'll have to cut the zip tie and unbind..pull a cable out that is attached to 40 other cables and then everything goes all to hell again.

been there a million times. just cram everything inside the console and try to avoid opening it when guests are over.

Yup. Things that are "permanent", like the interior of my PC, my desk, etc, are all gorgeously cable managed. The den entertainment console? Power strip and cables all pulled inside of the console and stuck behind the BD player. And it's dark enough back there that I could probably open it for a few seconds with company over without anyone noticing anything

Buy a 1” hole bit and drill into the drywall behind the Tv and another hole at the baseboard… tie a weight to a string and drop it down the hole and collect it at the bottom and then pull the cords up through the wall behind the drywall.

Super easy and efficient and also pretty cheap.

So you have a bunch of loose cables running behind/underneath the console?

Buy a pack of velcro cable ties. Those things are worth their weight in gold

Is there a room on the other side of the wall? I have my Xbox on the other side of the wall from the TV in the utility room on a shelf out of the way (along with modem/router, and security camera base). I ran a 20’ HDMI cord to the TV through one of those wall pass through openings shown above.
