So between a baby on the way and moving I'm selling my larger stereo system and want to "downgrade" to a single wireless system.

I'm looking around $500-600 but I could go to $1k for the right speaker.

Obviously the Play 5 and Soundtouch 30 are in that arena. I'm intrigued by the B&W Zeppelin.

It's going to be used for jazz/classical/classic rock.

I really appreciate any advice

Like a single wireless speaker?

Consider the Fluance Fi70 ($499). I have their bookshelf speakers at home and at the office and they sound great.

I know Sonos wins hands down for their app and choices. While important, audio quality is really what I'm most concerned about.

I have a lot of experience with Soundtouch and Sonos. I've A&B the Play5 and ST30 and the Sonos is the better sounding speaker. I do prefer the Soundtouch because of the hard buttons. It's what I have in my house currently.

Do you use Apple Music ?

Get this: Peachtree Audio - deepblue2 It's $350 and will likely be all you need.
