My sister jus signed up the other day. I'm still a couple weeks out from my Verizon contract ending and this new deal with AT&T looks good. 10GB of shareable data and 4 receivers on DirecTV for $200/month. Up to 4 devices on the wireless. So we would have the two phones and an iPad. The guy I talked to yesterday said I could do the 15GB data plan as well. Just curious how their data and voice service is these days. It wasn't all that great 4-6 years ago when we had them. I'd think it would have improved a good bit since then. Live in Birmingham if that matters.

Yeah I think that is part of the deal. But the directv would only be $60 per month for a year then jump to $85. It would be nice for football season and for my wife to turn on cartoons for the kids without using the fire stick. I wouldn't be paying much more than I am now for wireless and I would be getting more data and television.

I thought about it but I don't want to lose my grandfathered unlimited data plan. If I did this it would probably have to sign a new contract.

I have that deal already without bundling. Pay $110 for 15GB (2 phones and an iPad) and $90 for DTV with 4 receivers

Guess I could see about getting them put on one bill

I had DirecTV, dropped it for EATEL, the next month they come out with this. Waiting to see how it turns out for everyone else... Though so far, Lightwave has been pretty slick.
