Has anybody here paired a Fire Stick with a bluetooth mouse?

Asking because I googled the topic and the responses are paltry.

I'm wanting to play a couple of games that I've sideloaded to the Stick but the default controller can't handle the screen inputs.

I have previously tried a bluetooth game controller with no success and don't understand why it wouldn't pair.
