Guest WIFI Network with Multiple WAPS in large house

Hello! Trying to figure out the best way to do this without getting to complicated or spending a fortune. Basically I have a standard Arris Time Warner cable modem/router and an Luxul XGS-1024S 24-port Gigabit switch that feed six Engenius EAP600 WAPs and all works fine with one regular network...I was wondering if I could configure a guest WIFI with this. I don't think the Arris router even has the guest WIFI feature so maybe I can replace it? i know the WAPs can have up to 8 SSIDs and be configured to assign VLAN tags to packets on separate SSIDs. Just looking for some help and maybe what direction to go. Thanks!

Remote into them and set up different SSIDs..?

Are you wanting to setup just a different SSID with no password? Or an additional subnet and vlan for a guest wifi network?

^^This^^
Preferably something separate and isolated to keep the main network as secure as possible.

Ok so what kind of switch do you have? The ports will need to be able to trunk and carry both vlans.

I guess I need to edit my original post

You should not have to assign vlan tags.

How will the autonomous APs have multiple SSIDs on different VLANs without a trunk (tags) back to a layer 3 device? Wouldn't you have to put each AP on a trunk port?
I know with a controller you can do it but that's not the scenario here.

WHOA! Let's not get crazy technical here just yet. I'm just trying to figure out if what I'm trying to do is possible first. :)

Well I guess I should say if setup correctly.
A quick Google search says this...
quote:
EAP600 also includes EnGenius Zone Controller, Access Point Management software provides a robust suite of tools for IT managers, installers and network administrators who deploy, manage and maintain wireless networks. With EZ Controller, EAP600 can be configured, controlled and monitored from one central location.
So I would go and download that software before I did anything else. With that software, they shouldn't be autonomous any more.

Ok so the ways have a controller. How does that effect their relationship with a router?
