Group Text Msg Issue iPhone

All of a sudden I'm having issues getting group text msg in a timely matter. I won't get the messages when they are sent out but instead I'll get them a day or two later. It does this for all of the groups I have and doesn't matter if the group all has iPhones, Droid, or a mix.
Any ideas how to fix this short of buying a Droid.

if problem affects sms and imessages, this is your cell carrier, not your phone.

Did you happen to activate LTE for voice & data?
For some reason, using it for voice made my texts start acting weird. Turned it to only data then restarted and it fixed issue for now.
