Pretty good actually. Once you get used to this screen, it's hard to go back to the smaller one. It can just do a lot more than the classic. You'll get used to the size. A good bluetooth will help a lot.

Compare the specs. Thats a good start. Much faster, more powerful. Display is much better. More memory and internal storage.

Its faster. More powerful, more memory. If you want to keep it the full contract term, it probably won't be dated in a couple of years or unable to keep up with software. It has more storage and a much better screen. Hell, try the PP out. You have two weeks to return it at ATT. It is considered to be BB's flagship phone. The classic has Q10 specs and internals but added the toolbelt and a slightly larger screen.

Typing this from my new to me Passport! This thing sure is a beast! First review from my wife, "that's awful."

Congrats. It looks that way til you use it and figure it out.

I'd recommend buying the camera++ app in BlackBerry world. The stock camera lens is slow to adjust. Software issue. The app is much better. The other paid apps I'd get are BeWeather and BeMaps. Igrann pro as well if you use instagram.

Get the protection plan on BlackBerry website. $5 a month and $129 deductible. Better than ATT insurance. Covers everything, including water damage.

Don't use the camera much except for receipts and generally use Google or Waze for maps. I'll look into the protection plan. The problem I'm having now is that BBM didn't seem to transfer very well. I'm missing all of the channels I subscribe to.

Already have BeWeather Pro. Got it for free with the Q10 during a promo period and simply transferred it to the Passport.

As I said' use snap and you can get Google maps although bemaps seems to work off of them. The BlackBerry maps is not bad. Just not great

Don't use BBM much. I only have half a dozen channels. They all transferred over with no problem.

And under locations settings, turn off the data collection. Does nothing for you and runs battery down.

How is it working out? Do you know how to install Snap? It runs better than the Amazon Appstore.

First work day with it and I think I'm addicted! Haven't installed snap yet but I do know how and have it installed on my Q10. All of my Android apps transferred over seamlessly when I swapped devices through BlackBerry Link.

Today was the first time I used Blend and it worked perfectly. I don't really have the need to open Outlook on my laptop anymore. I've gotten used to the keyboard a lot faster than I expected. In fact most of this response was flicked into place

Do these newer BB phones still require a different kind of email server at work? IT guys told me today they want to get rid of their BB server

I'm sync'd with my work email through ActiveSync. No special server is needed for email.

I think the separate BB emails went away with BES 10/BB10. Its just for BBOS now. Don't know if that applies to your IT situation or not.

Get the Nuetron paid app. Music sounds MUCH better.

Are you experiencing any trouble with bluetooth? I'm having some spotty connection issues with my car. Did some research on crackberry and it looks to be a known issue with this OS. Seems the solution is to upgrade to a newer OS which of course AT&T hasn't released yet.

No. My BT has been fine. I use the Plantronics Voyager Legend. Now I did try to pair up my jbl speaker while headset was connected and it wouldn't pair. Turning off headset fixed it.

Try updating your BT software as well

Oh, saw you meant car. Can't help ya

Observations so far. GPS and bluetooth suck donkey dick. I guess I will try an OS update this weekend and if that doesn't work this thing is going on ebay.

Mine work fine. I use snap to get Google maps. Locates me at my house every time.

What is the bluetooth problem?

Google works the best but I still lose GPS signal. BB Maps doesn't work at all. I can only get about 15 seconds of GPS before the signal is lost. It would appear that after 5 minutes of research this is a confirmed problem with the ATT version.

Bluetooth won't stay connected either. Looks like the only solution is to upgrade the OS. What OS are you on? I'm on 10.3.1.1372

Same one and no problems. Seriously. I use my bluetooth all the time. The Bemaps Pro has worked pretty well.

Go to CB and ask. I've gotten a lot of help there.
