Google chrome changed all text to italics

Anyone know how to fix this issue? It is driving me crazy, I searched and so far none of the solutions are working for me or I am not doing them right.

The stuff I'm finding says your Windows fonts probably got screwed up. Some say just go to C:\Windows\Fonts and double clicking some, others say some fonts were missing and had to be reinstalled.
