That’s an overstatement. May not be the best and most reliable thing, but it sure beats the heck out of cable.

I’ve had slingtv since FEB 2015 with relatively zero issues. Of course I’m using a Roku which helps and my internet doesn’t suck (150/150).

I've been with sling since they started.

First issue was slow internet.
Second issue was using Xbox one to stream.

Went to a fire tv and cable internet and it was like a whole new service.

I've been using Sling since last season and have never had a problem.

I have great internet/router, and still had buffering issues with sling.

Most people with adequate internet service have few, if any, problems with Sling TV, so there is likely a problem on your end.

Mind telling us what device(s) you use, and whether they are connected via hardwire or wifi? Do you know how to check the connection speed/reliability on the device you use for Sling?

I'll probably drop charter. Especially if they can't come up with something with Viacom. I'm thinking sling, Hulu and Netflix. I have charter 30 meg service. I haven't had any issues streaming so far. Any issues with that speed or should I upgrade. That setup would put me right at $100 month.

I don't think there is anything wrong with Sling. These OTT services continue to get better and better in the connection (for lack of a better term) side of things.

I got an update from DTV Now a couple of weeks back and I can count the time I have buffered on one hand. Before that I was buffering several time per show and more on sports.

If you are going to do Hulu anyway....you should give their OTT service a shot....I'm sure there is a free trial.

I haven't tried it myself because I'm pretty much in bed with Directv Now at the moment...I have the grandfathered rate on one of the plans with the most content and I'm in the middle of a free year of HBO.
