Ummm...sauce for the gander?

So were you on here calling all people making BendGate jokes shitty posters?

ETA: and I don't think its much of an overstatement to say Apple , Samsung and Google are at "war" with each other. It's probably one of the most competitive tech fights ever being held.

I'm pretty sure I've called Rocket a shitty poster a few times. Probably once about bendgate.

Honestly, there aren't that many consistently flaming posters on here and you're identifying yourself as one of them.

Who cares if a few android fanboys make fun of iPhones because a handful of idiots sat on them and bent them? Is it really so serious to you that you need to "seek revenge"?

Sure as soon as you can show me where you called for someone to be banned for making a bendgate joke...

Is this really even a big flaw? I had the new Nokia Windows phone for a few months and I could fit a card just like in the OP between the edges.

Just have to wait and see when it hits the States.

Oh... you were trying to make a joke? So does that mean you're always joking here?

Far from it. Look I'll tone the rhetoric down. But let me say this. This board for the most part is so anti-Mac it's next to impossible to have a reasonable calm discussion bout it. Somebody posts I'm looking for a new computer what should I get? a big discussion breaks out about Lenovo or an Asus. You try to point out the benefits of a OSX etc., and within 3 posts get piled on for being a fanboi just for making the suggestion. Not saying you do or everybody does it. But it happens every time. I get piled on, I start piling back.

You guys just can't see it cause almost no one here besides Color Changing considers Macs a legitimate option. Just cause it's not an option for the usual posters on here that are super tech guys, doesn't mean it isn't a great option for the average Joe..

So pile away.

You obviously see what you want to see. People have differing opinions. I wouldn't call it "anti-mac" here at all.

No thanks to you. I've seen you derail more threads than anyone.

Then you should ignore it and move on with responding to the OP.

I don't have a PC at my home. I'm heavy in apple's ecosystem.... and part of what I do is being a windows admin.

That's fine. But trolling like you doesn't help anyone. It doesn't help the OPs and it doesn't help the board. You need to relax.

I really wish I chose a different username 9 years ago.

but yeah, like in that starting over thread. I'm not even going to bother with it. I used Windows for 17 years. I got tired of having to get my hands dirty doing things I thought should be relatively simple. I switched to OS X 3 years ago and have been very pleased. I know to each his own, but I'm tired of being shouted down.

Another added bonus, I can now claim complete Windows ignorance anytime someone in the office has a problem with their PC, which seems to be a weekly happening.

Despite what you guys might think, I respect opinions of guys like you. Korkstand, Ilikelsu and others. Obviously extremely knowledgeable. I'm not sure but suspect almost all in IT etc. So you make a living off of Microsoft and Server software and deal with it daily. That makes most of you very Microsoft centric.

You've basically got to have Windows to run the software and have the tools you make a living at. But what's important to IT guys is mostly totally insignificant to the average user.

I'm just like ColorChanging. I was the go to Windows support guy for the family and friends for many many years. I switched almost all of em to Macs and put myself out of the support "business".

I agree, but that's their war.

Look, I love my iPhone 6 as much as anyone but I'm not an Apple guy. I think they do great things but I'll call them out on their bullshite when they do something I don't like. Same with Google and their services.

And you're right about people ragging on Macs and OSX, but like ell said you might have the blinders on a little. People rag on Samsung and touch wiz all the time (mostly android users at that), nobody here gives any love to blackberry and windows 8 is the plague to some posters here.

That's a feature.

Shock absorber for when it's dropped. It's why iPhone screens constantly crack and Samsung's don't.

I should get paid for that PR.

years, because I get a call every other week from my aunt that can't figure out why her brand new imac keeps disconnecting from the Internet and other problems.. It's not just Windows.

Did it eventually accumulate dirt and other crud from general use? That's what comes to mind when I see a gap like that. Just like certain phone cases tend to accumulate crap over time in its cracks and gaps.

because I say iphones are designed for simple minded people? I mean, we have enough evidence to confirm as such...

their primary users are teenage girls and soccer moms who think anything with instagram is "da koolest"

oh yea, that shite is overpriced too. guess saying that also makes me "shitty"?

GL WITH YOUR $800 PHONE PURCHASING GOALS OF 2014 WHEN ONE WITH THE SAME SPECS ONLY COSTS $300 (plebs when will they ever learn)

So one picture is a major gaffe. You didn't seem to think small numbers were important in Bendgate.

I don't even want a phone anymore. I'm going off the grid. It is really alarming that neither side here can recognize its own hypocrisy.
