Replaced black ink cartridge for the first time. Nothing prints. I ran it through all the tests and the nozzle cleanings, it printed out a couple of test pages. However, when I go to actually print a document, nothing prints. The paper comes out, I can hear the print heads working as they should, then a white piece of paper comes out completely blank. SUggestions?

Ayyyyy, I had this same problem with an Epson 410 2 weeks ago. I spent two days trying to fix it. Only prints color. I bought an HP the other day. Hopefully this one will last a lot longer.

Did you pull off the yellow sticker? (I guess it depends on the cartridge, as some don't have anything to pull off)

Sounds like you bought the super secret black ink. Put your document under a black light and you should be able to read it.

Try another cartridge.

Did you buy Epson or off-brand?
