Eatel cable

I just moved to Gonzales and got the Eatel bundle. I am having problems changing the channels. All the equipment is new. Any one have any input on their service. Customer service told me last night on the phone it is quicker to just bring the equipment in for a swap out. I asked him if I need a referral/repair #, he said "no". I am wondering if it is the equipment or the service. It also appears the HBO/Cinemax channels are not in HD.

I only have internet through Eatel and love them. The cable box might not be programmed properly.

Just bring in you box to the burnside location and swap it out. My box went out every couple years when I had them.

Thanks for the responses. My bad. I didn't realize how temperamental the sensors were. I started to aim the remote to the right of the box, and it started to work fine. I will stop by their office tomorrow to find out about HBO in HD. I been with Direct for about 10 years. Gonna take a while to adjust.

That is odd. All my issues have been with the box themselves going out. But they are very easy to deal with. I have zero complaints with their customer service.
